The Princely coin collection of the house of Waldeck, built from the 18th century onwards, was sold by action between 1935 and 1937. The source for four auction sales is only named as a Prince de W. See Münzhandlung Basel, Auction 3 on 4-5 March 1935, Auction 4 on 1 Oktober 1935 and next day, Auction 6 on 18. March 1936 and next day, and Auction 8 on 22-23 March 1937. Lit.: R.
