From the holdings of the former Hohenzollernmuseum in Schloß Monbijou. The Museum had been established in 1877. Damaged during World War Two in 1943 the Schloss (Castle) Monbijou was knocked down by orders of the Magistrates of East Berlin in 1959 for obvious ideological reasons. |
