This king in the region of Lesser Scythia (Dobruja) is probably only known for his coins. He is believed to be a king of the Getae (Moushmov) or a Scythian king (SNG Stancomb). He is known under the names Akrosas and Akrosander or Akrosandros. The legend ΑΝΔΡ or ΑΝΔΡΕ in the exerue of the coins does not have to be the second half of his name, as there are coins with EY in the exergue, too. He ruled around 180 to 150 BC. BC |
