Talers and double talers which are based on the coin treaty of Dresden of 1838 and the one signed in Vienna in 1857 are also called Vereinstaler resp. Vereinsdoppeltaler. They are based on the 14 Taler standard based on the Colongne Mark of 233.85 grams. The 1857 agreement uses the same standard, now calculated on the Zollpfund of 500 grams, from which 30 Talers are struck. The last Vereinstalers were issued in Austria in 1866 and in Germany in 1872.
