ʿAlīd rebel know from coins struck in Gayy. Ibn Muʿāwiya gose to power between AH 127 and 130 in the regions of Fars, Iṣbahān und Jibal among others, and became the leader of groups fighting the Umayyad caliphate. He might have died in AH 131. |
