Rosenberger, Marquard (um 1480-1536) |
Rosenberger was born in Schwabach presumably in 1480, and died in 1536. In 1489 a mintmaster with the name of Hans Rosemberger is attested there. Marquart Rosenberger, too, began his profession as a mintmaster here in Schwabach. On 3 August 1506 he married Clara Ehinger, the daughter of Franz Ehinger of Ulm. In the autumn of 1512 Rosenberger became a citizen of Nuremberg and on 21 November 1512 he was appointed mintmaster. As of 1515 he is also member of the council (Genannter des größeren Rats). |
