            <lido:descriptiveNoteValue>Bei diesen Kolberger Belagerungsscheinen (sog. Meinecke-Kupons) handelt es sich um Notgeld, bei dem Packpapierbogen mit Schreibpapier überklebt wurde. Die Hafenstadt Kolberg (Colberg) der ehemaligen Provinz Pommern wurde im Mai 1807 von napoleonischen Truppen belagert und eingeschlossen. Um den Geldmangel zu beheben, gab man Notgeldscheine zu 2, 4 und 8 Groschen heraus, die die Schüler des Lyzeums mit Tinte beschrieben. Für einen Teil der Ausgaben war eine Kommission (Kommissions-Kupons) verantwortlich, der andere Teil wurde von dem Kriegs- und Domänenrat Meinecke (Meinecke-Kupons) veranlasst. Insgesamt wurde Scheine im Wert von 5200 Talern hergestellt, die teilweise erst nach dem Ende der Belagerung (2. Juli) ausgegeben und bis zum 1. Juni 1808 eingelöst worden sind.
