Es ist unklar, ob der auf diesem Token genannte Whalley identisch mit dem James Whalley ist, der Token in Gloucester ausgab. Vermutlich handelt es sich bei diesem Token um ein Fabrikat Henry Morgans, da sich keinerlei Spuren eines Geschäfts mit dem Namen Whalley & Co. in Londoner Verzeichnissen finden lassen.
