Stockmar, Theodor (um 1750-1820) |
Son of Johann Heinrich Stockmar (1707-1785). Appointed ducal die cutter in Gotha in 1774, and mint warden from 1779 and to 1804. Mintmaster in Düsseldorf from 1805 to 1817 (pensioned 31 Dcember 1817). He also worked as a die cutter in between 1805 and 1808. Stockmar died around 1820. Lit.: A.
