From 1605 to 1608 assayer and mintmaster in Christophstal. From 1620 Master of the Mint in Stuttgart, the end of his activity there is unclear. Since the "old" Stuttgart mint was closed in 1622 after the "new" mint was opened in Stuttgart-Berg, Fischer would have to have moved with the mint if he had been employed beyond 1622. Lit.: U.
