Timpf (Tympf), Samuel (1585-1656) |
Son of the mintmaster Simon Timpe the Elder, brother of the mintmasters Simon the Younger, Heinrich, Thomas the Elder and Peter Timpf. From 10 September 1617 mintmaster in Burg auf Fehmarn. On 4 December 1620 transferred to the mint Steinbeck. Since 31 December 1622 together with his brother Peter Timpf mintmaster in Schleswig (Schloss Gottorp), too. From 1627 onwards mintmaster in Steinbeck. 1630 Timpf quits service for the Dukes of the Gottorp branche and moves to Burg on Fehmarn.
