Neumeister, Johann Georg (um 1730-1790) |
Appointed mint warden in Frankfurt am Main on 19 April 1763. His initial N appears on coins from 1764 to 1789 always together with the one of the mintmaster Bunsen. Before 1763 he used to be a mint warden in Würzburg from 1754 to 1762 and a mintmaster there from 1764 to 1761. While in Würzburg he signs with his initials GN and variants.
