Mintmaster in Goslar between 1570 and 1596 and again from 1597 to 1599. Personal symbol Patriarchal cross (like his father, the mintmaster Hans Küne, died 1570). Father of the mintmaster Georg Küne (Köhne). Also in service of the Duke of Brunswick, and temporarily for the city of Goslar. Küne died in 1599. Lit.: H. Buck - A. Büttner - B.
