Deutsche Rentenbank (Berlin) |
The Deutsche Rentenbank was founded in October 1923. For the benefit of the Deutsche Rentenbank, real estate (agriculture, industry and commerce) was forcibly given mortages and land charges. The Deutsche Rentenbank issued interest-bearing Rentenbank papers, the Rentenbankpfennig, and the Rentenbankmark in exchange for the value of the real estate. In 1934 the Rentenbank donated pattern banknotes (50 Rentenmark) to the Münzkabinett Berlin. |
