Coal and wine merchants with businesses in Southampton, and owner of a flax mill in Romsey, Hampshire. Henry William Lintott also was mayor of Romsey. The company issued tokens in 1812. According to Withers William Henry Lintott died in 1816. In this case his son must have had the same name as his father as a William Henry Lintott again became mayor in 1822. Lit.: P. and B. R.
