Coin and art dealing company. Establihsed in 1951 as Hesperia Art Ltd. by Vladimir Clain-Stefanelli and Robert E. Hecht in Baltimore, Maryland (USA). Later as Hesperia Art in New York (1952/53). From 1956/57 under the name of Hesperia Art owned by George Allen (1917-1997) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA), the owner of William H. Allen Booksellers (Walnut Street, Philadelphia). There was issued a Hesperia Art Bulletin (Philadelphia), only in 1957. A Hesperia Art Auction Ltd. was operating in New York in 1990. |
