Roëttiers, John (04.07.1631 - 16.07.1703) |
Invited by king Charles II in 1661 to work at teh Royal mint. One of the chief engravers there, appointed 19 May 1662. Roëttiers also worked as a medalist. In office untill c. 1697/98. Roëttiers died in 1703. Lit.: L. Forrer, Biographical dictionary of Medallists V (1912) pp. 161-174. |
