Worked also as a die-cutter and medalist. Mintmaster in Leipzig from 1518 to 1519, again from 1522 to 1526, and finally from 1530 to 1532. In addition Gebhardt served as the master of the Joachimsthal (Jachymov) mint of the Counts of Schlick from 1519 to 1522, and again from 1526 (to end of 1520ies).
