Iulia Zenonis |
Iulia Zenonis, Iulia, daughter of Zenon. Probably wife of Iulius Andronikos. Magistrate and together with Iulius Andronicus responsible for an issue in Laodicea ad Lycum/Phrygia in c. AD 62? Her name with the patronymic is found on coins under Nero (RPC I nos. 2924-2925 with portraits of Poppaea and the city-personification). Her coins complement the denominational gaps in the line of coins issued in the name of Iulius Andronikos (probably her husband). Lit.: W.
