Ecke, Heinrich von der |
Son of the mintmaster Hans von der Ecke the Elder, brother of the mintmaster Hans von der Ecke the Younger. Mintmaster in Einbeck from 1606 to 1618. From July 1618 to 1619 mintmaster in Göttingen. From 21 August 1618 to early 1621 also mintmaster in Northeim. 1617 he was found guilty of striking 6 Groschen too many out of the Mark of silver. When von der Ecke returned to Einbeck in 1621, he was arrested. Sign: until 16134 he used the same sign as his father did, a seal ring, therein a HE-ligature. 1614-1615 without a sign.
