Aurelius Attalus Tatianos

Strategos in Hypaepa/Lydia between c. AD 212 and 217.

Together with (Aurelius) Apollonios, his name, and also his office of Strategos, are attested on coins issued in the Severan period. Compare A. Geißen, Zu Beamtennamen auf Münzen von Hypaipa, Epigraphica Anatolica 7, 1986, p. 120 no. 7.

As Aurelios Attalos Strategos for the first time teh same individual appears now with the name Tatianos added again during Caracalla's sole rule (AD 212-217). See Geissen (1986) pp. 119-120 no. 6.

In addition during this period he as Aurelios Attalos Strategos appears in combination with the name of his collegue in office Charixenos. Vgl. Geissen (1986) pp. 119-120 no. 6.
