Mangold, Prof. Ernst Ludwig Karl Wilhelm (05.02.1879 - 10.07.1961)

German physician, physiologist and nutrition researcher.

From 1912 to 1923 Mangold was a Professor of Nutritional Physiology of Pets at the University of Freiburg, from 1923 to 1935 Professor and Director of the Institute for Animal Physiology at the Agricultural University Berlin and from 1935 to 1954 Professor and Director of the Institute for Animal Nutrition at the University of Berlin.

In 1933 Mangold donated a medal made by Dautert and depicting him to the Münzkabinett Berlin.
