Stechow, Eberhard (21.03.1883 - 11.08.1959) |
Eberhard Stechow was a zoologist and worked in the Munich State Zoological Collection, which director he became in 1937. On numerous worldwide research trips, he collected a large collection of preparations that still exists today. In 1938 Stechow presented the Münzkabinett Berlin with a medal for his wife Elsa, who had died in 1937, created by the medalist Josef Bernhart. Lit.: W.
