	August Franz Anton Hans Fritzsche was a journalist and held various positions in the Reich Ministry for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda (Reichsministerium für Volksaufklärung und Propaganda). In the Reichsrundfunk Fritzsche had the weekly program "Here speaks Hans Fritzsche". Fritzsche was one of the 24 defendants in the Nuremberg trial of the main war criminals before the International Military Tribunal. He was acquitted on all charges.
