Fritzsche, Hans (21.04.1900 - 27.09.1953)

August Franz Anton Hans Fritzsche was a journalist and held various positions in the Reich Ministry for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda (Reichsministerium für Volksaufklärung und Propaganda).

In the Reichsrundfunk Fritzsche had the weekly program "Here speaks Hans Fritzsche". Fritzsche was one of the 24 defendants in the Nuremberg trial of the main war criminals before the International Military Tribunal. He was acquitted on all charges.

Donation to the Münzkabinett Berlin in 1940 (a Taler of 1760, which was sent to him by one of his female listeners).
