Born in Oldenburg. Die-engraver in Dresden, employed at the Ducal mint from 1605 to 1616. Herbart von Lünen also worked as a medalist, too, and is last attested in c. 1626. He signs with his initials H V L resp. H V L P. Lit.: L. Forrer, Biographical dictionary of medallists III (1907) p. 498. |
