Heinrich Meier originates from Halle. From 1611 to 1615 mintmaster for the counts of Barby in Barby, in Magdeburg from 1616 to 1618, and in Quedlinburg in 1619. Mintmaster in Königsee from 1620 to 1621. In August 1619 a contracted between him and the counts of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt was negotiated, and Meyer was appointed mintmaster for six years. But only after solving an intervention by the elector of Saxony, minting finally commenced there on 20 January1620.
