Dachauer, Prof. Wilhelm (05.04.1881 - 26.02.1951) |
Austrian painter and graphic artist. Dachauer studied at the Academy of Fine Arts from 1899 to 1907 and was also a professor there from 1927 to 1945. Dachauer is best known for his design of postage stamps. During the Nazi era, he designed numerous stamps of the German Reich.
