Gold smith in Florence, originally from Carpi. C. was granted the citizenship of Florence in 1603. Father of Sigismondo Coccapani (1583-1642) and of Giovanni Coccapani (1682-1649). Medals signed by R. C. are attributed by some authors to Regolo Coccapani. |
