German philologist. Coin collector. Thurow donated his collection, mainly of coins of the Roman Republic, to the Akademisches Kunstmuseum Bonn in 2022. The majority of these coin belonged to the collection of Thurow's father-in-law Hans Nölter (died 1990). |
