Mintmaster in Zweibrücken from 1622 to 1632. The Ducal mint of Wolfgang of Pfalz-Zweibrücken had been moved from Bergzabern to Zweibrücken in 1584. Next to the Alexanderkirche a new mint was built, a key feature of the city until the Second World War. With the death of Johann the Younger in 1635 the Zweibrücken mint was closed. |
