Appointed die-engraver at the Berlin mint on 4 May 1742. Barbiez worked there untill his death in 1754. He also worked as a medalist. Previously from c. 1738 working as an assistant, officially being appointed asisstant to die-engravers C. F. Lüders and F. Marl on 21 July 1739. |
