Morone-Mola, Gasparo (-1669) |
Italian medalist and die-engraver. As of 1633 in Mantue, he went to Rome in 1637, and worked at the Papal mint as die-engraver. He signs with his full name or his initial GM respectively. Morone-Mola died in 1669. Lit.: Forrer IV (1909) p. 153; Thieme-Becker XXV (1931) p. 165. |
