The identification of the inidividual signing with R is uncertain. Reisen used to be a die-engraver in London, and worked in Berlin under the reigns of Frederick I and Frederick William I. He signs with his initial R. Reisen died c. 1725. Compare ZfN 22, 1900, p. 73 n. 2. |
