Appointed mint-warden for Prince Johann Casimir of Anhalt-Dessau for the mint of Dessau in 1621. Voigt then signs a contract with the previous mintmaster of Dessau, Johann Andreas Röthling, wherein they agreed, that from this day on Voigt would be in charge of the mint Dessau and also would be the one who pays the salaries of the staff working in the mint. From there on he calls himself mintmaster officially. Voigt signs with his initials SV. Lit.: H.
