Also known as Jürgens resp. Jürgensen. From 4 June 1603 to 1608 mintmaster in Steinbeck. From 18 May 1609 to the issue of the „Sterbetalers“ on the death of duke Franz II. of Saxony-Lauenburg in 1619 mintmaster in Lauenburg. Mintmaster in Lüneburg from 1613 to 1638. He was suspended because of irregularities in 1638, and finally dismissed in 1642. Personal symbol horseman holding a sword (St George) resp. G and J.
