Geheimer Regierungsrat Joseph Rosenthal, owner of the Bank von Koenen and Compagnie (founded 1894, co-founder and share-holder Wolfgang von Koenen, 1845-1896). Donation to the Münzkabinett Berlin in 1908. Previously with the Berliner Medaillen-Münze Otto Oertel company. Dr Joseph Rosenthal had donated 10,000 Marks in order to purchase the company's bequest and donated it to the coin cabinet. Lit.: J.
