Mintmaster in Laufenburg/Switzerland. Meyer received his papers for Laufenburg through the hands of Archduke Leopold in Ensisheim on 14 February 1622 , and the permission of the Council in November 1622. Struck coins were already declared invalid by early August 1623, and reduced to a quarter of their original value in Laufenburg. Finally the coins were declared illegal on 28 October 1623. Lit.: R.
