Reich, John (Johann Matthias) (1767-1822)

German medalist, originally from Fürt. Emigrated to the US in 1800.

Reich became a die-engraver at the US mint in 1801, and was its second engraver from 1807 to 1817.

Reich was born in Fürth/Germany, and son of Johann Christian Reich.

Reich died in 1822.
