Person GND

Name

Tiberius Claudius Zenon

Magistrate in Aphrodisias/Caria between c. AD 209 and 211.

Some coins bear the addition of ΑΝΕΘΗΚΕΝ, d. h. Zenon denotated this emission. The other abbreviation ΑΡΧ may refer to his titles as ΑΡΧΩΝ (the eponymos civic magistrate) or ΑΡΧΙΕΡEΥC (the priest of the Imperial cult). The later seems more propable, as some dies have a more elaborate reference to ΑΡΧΙΕ.
