	American Ophthalmologist, numismatist, and coin collector. Judd's collection was stolen in 1965 and only recovered after his death. There is a list of the coins stolen: Bank Leu, Griechische Münzen: illustrierte Liste der gestohlenen Stücke = Greek coins: illustrated list of stolen coins = Monnaies grecques: liste illustrée des pièces volées, 32 pages (1966). As the insurance had already been claimed by his heirs, the insurance company had the collection sold by Leu: Auction Leu (Zürich) 15 on 4/5 May 1976 ("aus der Sammlung Dr. J. H. Judd, Omaha, gestohlen 1965 und teilweise wieder beigebracht, versteigert im Auftrage der Eigentümer The Insurance Company of North America, Philadelphia").
