Son of Johann Veit Döll. Die-engraver in Sigmaringen. Mintmaster in Mannheim from 1812 to 1826, and in Karlsruhe from 1827. Doell did produce medals, too. Doell died in 1848. Lit.: L. Forrer, Biographical Dictionary of Medallists I (1904) p. 598. |
