Diokles

Three times attested as first magistrate in Athens, in 65/64 BC [Thompson issue 98], in 61/60 BC [Thompson issue 102], and in 56/55 BC [Thompson issue 107]. From Kephisia. Son of Diokles. Eponymous Archon in Athens in 57/56 BC and priest of Asklepios and Hygieia (his additional symbols Asklepios / Hygieia / Dionysos conform to this priestly office) (Thompson 1961, p. 560; Habicht 1997, p. 16). His subsequent magistracies were explicitly mentioned in the legend by the addition of ΤΟ ΔΕΥ "for the second time" and ΤΟ ΤΡΙ "for the third time".
