Second magistrate attested in Athens in 102/101 BC. From Phaleron. Belongs to the same family as his colleague Timostratos, probably his brother (for the stemma cf. Thompson 1961, p. 579). Attested as author of comedies, victor with one of his comedies at the Serapieia in Tanagra in the same year Asklepiades (magistrate of issue 62 in 103/102 BC) was successful with a tragedy (Habicht 1991, p. 10). Thesmotetes in 88/87 BC.
