Apollas, son of Phainias. Magistrate in Temnus/Aeolis around 5 BC.

His name appears on coins issued in Temnus during the reign of  Augustus in c. 5 BC. Types used show portraits of the Emperor or the proconsul Asinius Gallus (RPC I no. 2447). This allows us to date this magistrate's term in office around 5 BC.

Lit.: RPC I pp. 414-415 nos. 2446-2447; W. Leschhorn, Lexikon der Aufschriften auf griechischen Münzen II (2009) p. 336 (5 BC).
