Strauss, Pierre (02.03.1922 - 28.05.1995) |
Swiss Numismatist. Strauss originated from the Rhineland and emigrated to France in 1933. From 1945 he worked as a coin dealer in Paris. In 1958 Strauss moved to Basels, working for Münzen und Medaillen AG. Pierre Strauss was the son of L. Strauss, who perished in the Holocaust. Lit.: S.
