Italian industralist (Maestretti company) from Bellinzona and coin collector. Had a Swiss passport. Moretti's collection focussed on coins of Magna Graecia and Sicily in particular. Supporter of and donor to numismatic projects. Greek coins sold by NAC (e.g. NAC Auction 13 of Oct. 1998), Roman ones anonymously by Numismatic Fine Arts Auction 22, 1989.
