Cotys I (c. AD 45-68) |
Tiberius Iulius Cotys (= Cotys I., c. AD 45-68). Son of Aspurgus and Gepaeprris. In AD 45 he was installed as client king by the Roman emperor Claudius. His name (RPC I no. 1934, maybe postumous) and his portrait (RPC I nos. 1926-1927) appear on bronze coins from late Claudian/early Neronian periods.
