	An official (Legatus?) of Augustus in Asia between c. 31 and 29 BC (before the inauguration of an official govenor in the province). Pollio did not hold the office of Proconsul nor govenor of the province. He does appear on coins of Tralleis (Caesarea) in Lydia with his name and portrait but lacking a title. Lit.: G. R.
