Name |
Andronikos |
Magistrate in Apamea/Phrygia during the second/first centuries BC/c. 100-50 v. Chr. His name does appear in an abbreviated form on coins and lacking any patronym. It is not clear if this magistrate is the same as Andonikos tou Alkiou (Andronikos, son of Alkios) whom we know from coins of the same period. For the latter see there. Lit.: W. Leschhorn, Lexikon der Aufschriften auf griechischen Münzen II (2009) p. 320 (2nd/1st centuries BC). |
