Danish sculptor, medalist, and die-engraver. Salomon began working at the Danish mint in Copenhagen in 1925, and became its chef engraver in 1933. He held this post until 1968, only interrupted when he was forced to flee to Sweden in 1943 because of his Jewish faith. He returned to Denmark in 1945. |
